Where you'll be working
SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney’s central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.
 
What you'll be doing
The Workspace Support Senior Technical Specialist is responsible for the provision of a range of customer services to support the efficient and effective operation of the desktop environment, core and relevant office business applications and related ICT infrastructure. The position may involve technically managing the desktop environment of a major site. 
 
This position is a senior technical position within Workspace Support Services and as such, provides technical support and high level advice to sector staff. The position includes support for installation, configuration and provide troubleshooting guidelines for team members. The incumbent will also manage escalated incidents and resolve tickets logged via Service Desk for the Local Health Network Desktop Environment. This may also include the management of services provided by external organisations either on premise, in the cloud or other locations. The Senior Technical Specialist will contribute to governance and decision making of Workspace Support Services.
