What you'll be doing
As the Whole of Health Lead, you will work across services to strengthen patient access, improve flow, and embed sustainable improvements in care delivery. You will lead hospital‑wide initiatives aligned to Ministry of Health priorities and performance targets.
Lead the Whole of Health program, delivering end‑to‑end project management using best‑practice methodologies
Develop and refine ED accessible bed management and predictive bed management processes
Improve patient flow and access across the Emergency Department and hospital
Coordinate and deliver initiatives aligned to the Patient Flow Collaborative and organisational priorities
Influence stakeholders, build capability and drive system‑wide understanding of care streams and flow

Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project management in a health-related field.
Demonstrated experience in applying project management knowledge to effectively lead and undertake complex projects – and understanding of change management, ideally within a NSW Heath or similar agencies in other jurisdictions.
Demonstrated understanding of the issues relating to patient flow at Westmead Hospital.
Demonstrated program, financial, personnel management skills and experience including project design, implementation, reporting and evaluation to ensure high quality deliverables.
Demonstrated experience in analytical skills including the ability to access, assess and critically evaluate project related data and prepare reports and briefs for escalation or stakeholder review.
Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to prepare and facilitate presentations for executive, stakeholders and large groups with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, lead others to foster innovation, achieve outcomes, meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
Demonstrated experience in liaising effectively and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders,to facilitate cooperation and support in achieving outcomes and to establish and maintain strong effective working relationships.
Demonstrated high level computer skills
