This role will work to develop processes and provide intervention for consumer population with experience of Homelessness, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.

The Senior Clinician will have a specific focus on mental health consumers with complex care needs and will work in close collaboration with the Department of Communities and Justice, NGO's and General Practitioners. In this role you will provide leadership, mentorship and supervision, to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team, and in collaboration with external partners for consumers of the mental health service. The successful applicant has the opportunity to support the local population of the Illawarra Shoalhaven local area in a senior clinical role which works in collaboration with various community mental health teams and is well supported by stream specialists including acute care, continuing care and clinical directors.

·     Relevant Qualifications and/or Current AHPRA Registration

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist / Registered Nurse/Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist or a qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 must have relevant post-registration qualification and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification

·     Working With Children Check (WWCC)

·     NSW Drivers Licence

·     Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
