Manning Base Hospital is seeking applications from suitably qualified FRANZCOGs.
Candidates must have:
Fellowship RANZCOG
Specialist Registration with AHPRA
About the Role & Department
Join a dynamic and supportive team in a well-established O&G department featuring:
- A busy birthing suite with approximately 650 deliveries per year
- After hours on call and weekend commitment is 1:4
- Comprehensive outpatient services including:
- Antenatal Clinic (ANC)
- Gynaecology
- High-Risk Obstetrics
- Colposcopy
- Surgical services including minimally invasive, open, and laparoscopic procedures
- Strong JMO support, including:
- Accredited Registrars / Rural Generalists
- SRMOs and RMOs
- Close collaboration with a well-established Paediatrics Department, including a Special Care Nursery
- Academic links with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health
- Teaching opportunities for Years 3–5 (Joint Medical Program) Conjoint Academic appointments encouraged (commensurate with experience)
