Trainee - Unaccredited Position
Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Criteria for the role (minimum PGY3+).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising the clinical skills, judgement and expertise at the required level of competency.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, including the sharing of appropriate information internally and externally with key persons or services.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to vary communication style in line with the understanding of the needs of diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and display a flexible approach to meet changing situations in a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment.
- Demonstrated ongoing commitment to further self-education and professional development.
- A professional attitude and flexibility in work role with preparedness and ability to participate in afterhours (including night shifts), weekend rostering overtime and on-call rosters within required rotations between services.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.

This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
