- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum 3 years post graduate experience. Should have previous experience in Cardiothoracic surgery, having passed primary fellowship examination of RACS.
- Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent or outstanding communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching.
- Demonstrated commitment to research.
- Previous intensive care experience.
