About the role
Crown Clerk 7/8 role, starting salary from $113,574 - $125,720 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location - 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards.

What you'll be doing
You will undertake supervised work placements across a range of settings within the NSW health system. While you may have the opportunity to complete a rural placement, most placements are located within the Sydney metropolitan area.
You will work on projects and activities that support the application of evidence-informed public health policy and practice aligned with organisational priorities. Through this work, Trainee Public Health Officers help build the capacity of the NSW population health workforce and contribute to NSW Health’s public health emergency surge capacity during incidents.
About you
Completed masters or higher-level qualification in public health or a public health field
Minimum of three years of full-time equivalent health related employment
Demonstrated understanding of the Australian health care system
Availability to be deployed at short notice to any part of NSW to investigate acute public health problems
A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
In addition, due to the competitive nature of these traineeships, work experience in a public health or population health role is highly desirable.
