An exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to join a small group of Technical Aides (Storesperson) in a dynamic team to provide support to the Operating Theatres!

 
 

About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
 
The Technical Aide maintains supply of stores, inventory and surgical instruments within the operating suite. They provide clear and accurate information to Nursing Unit Managers and Nursing staff in regards to stores, supplies and instrument tray inventory. Clear, concise information allows the service to function in an efficient manner. 

This position will be working a rotating roster with evening and weekends, but no night shift. For more information, please view the Position Description.

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Physical fitness to perform all aspects of the position.
