Join Our Switchboard and Reception Team at Maitland Hospital
We're looking for a dedicated Administration Officer to join our Switchboard and Reception team at Maitland Hospital. In this vital front-line role, you'll help keep the hospital connected by providing exceptional customer service, supporting communication across the facility, and ensuring patients, visitors, and staff receive the assistance they need.
Your Day-to-Day Impact
As one of the first people our community interacts with, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience. In this fast-paced and varied position, you will:
- Deliver professional and efficient switchboard and reception services.
- Provide friendly, responsive customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain and update live patient information after hours to support accurate patient location and communication.
- Provide administrative support to the Emergency Department and other clinical areas as required.
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of hospital communication and front-of-house services.

Essential Requirements
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster including nights and weekends.
