About the Role
As a Casual Speech Pathologist Level 1/2, you will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis and intervention services for adults experiencing communication and swallowing disorders across a variety of clinical settings. Working within both inpatient and outpatient services, you will deliver evidence-based care that supports positive health outcomes and enhances patient wellbeing.
In this flexible and rewarding role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centred treatment plans while managing a diverse caseload. You will have the opportunity to apply and further develop your clinical skills in a supportive healthcare environment, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care.
About You
You are a qualified and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a passion for helping adults overcome communication and swallowing challenges. You hold a Bachelor or Postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) and are eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
You have a strong understanding of contemporary clinical practice and can confidently assess and manage adult communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based approaches. You thrive in collaborative multidisciplinary environments and enjoy working alongside fellow speech pathologists and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Organised and adaptable, you can effectively manage a varied inpatient and outpatient caseload while maintaining a high standard of clinical care. You also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues. A current unrestricted Driver's Licence is essential.

Practising and promoting safe, efficient and effective Inpatient, Outpatient/Community care that reflects current standards of Speech Pathology practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures
