About the role

This role provides a great opportunity to develop skills as a community health speech pathologist servicing a rural generalist mixed caseload. 

The role delivers communication and swallowing services to outpatients across the lifespan as well as an in-reach service to Parkes Hospital inpatients.

Experience caseload autonomy with the support of regular supervision from experienced clinicians.

Be part of a dynamic team of speech pathologists from surrounding towns who participate in monthly meetings. The team engages in resource sharing, case discussions, QI collaboration, research analysis and clinical supervision topics.

Enjoy the benefits of a supportive and committed multidisciplinary team.

You will work closely with the a Senior Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Child & Family Health Nurses, Social Workers, Community Nurses and Administration staff.
