SCHN-Children's Hospital Westmead is looking for a qualified Sonographer (Paediatric experience highly desirable) to join our medical imaging department.
The position will include a radiography component as well. Grading will be applied to match qualification. Advance US trainees are also welcome to apply.
What you'll be doing
To perform quality diagnostic imaging procedures as required by various medical and surgical departments within the policy and procedures guidelines of medical imaging department SCHN-CHW.
This position is primarily responsible for leading Ultrasound imaging services to clients and patients of the SCHN-CHW. This MRS must demonstrate a high level of knowledge and proficiency in Ultrasound. An active participation in training and educating other MRS is a vital key component of this role.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has high level Ultrasound experience supporting a tertiary level Ultrasound service
- Can demonstrate a high level experience supporting the full range of Ultrasound examinations including but not limited to paediatrics, Body, musculoskeletal, vascular
