About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.
Perform organ imaging examinations and be responsible for the production and archiving of diagnostic images of a high quality in accordance with established standards ensuring radiographic and professional standards are optimised and examinations are completed within expected time-frames.
Ideal Candidate
- Medical Radiation Scientist (Radiographer Level 3, Grade 3) must possess; Degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent, Post Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound, Registered with Australian Sonographer’s Association Registry (ASAR) , NSW EPA Radiation Licence and Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 must possess; Degree in Science, Applied Science or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent, Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent, Registered with Australian Sonographer’s Association Registry (ASAR).
- Knowledge of computer literacy with Microsoft applications, Radiology Information (RIS), PACS and Hospital information Systems.
