Social Worker Level 3 - Manning Mental Health Inpatient Unit

About the Role:

As a Social Worker Level 3, you’ll bring your expertise to the Manning Mental Health Inpatient Unit, playing a pivotal role within a collaborative multidisciplinary team and providing specialist psychosocial insight across assessment, care planning and intervention. Your expertise will help address complex psychosocial needs, strengthen family-inclusive and culturally responsive care, and support consumers navigating challenges including family and domestic violence, child protection and homelessness risk.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact at some of the most critical points in a person’s recovery journey, helping consumers build meaningful connections with community services and supports to strengthen continuity of care beyond the inpatient setting.

Joining a small, close-knit Social Work team, you’ll be supported by experienced senior professional guidance from the community team, regular clinical supervision, a comprehensive orientation program and ongoing education and professional development. In this role, you’ll be welcomed with a comprehensive induction and strong support from day one, working alongside the multidisciplinary Manning Mental Health Unit team, Nurse Unit Manager, Service Manager and your Head of Discipline. Essential Requirements:

• Must hold as a minimum a bachelor degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
