About the Role
You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the veteran community, the hospital now delivers a broad range of specialist and general health services to the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas.
You will work within highly skilled MDT, providing psychosocial assessment, senior support, case planning for Patients in the Burns Unit. You will provide senior clinical leadership within Social Work service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff including provision of supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff and students on clinical placements in accordance with the award.

Ideal Candidate
- Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of social work, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Currently holds a valid NSW driver’s licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable).
- Ability to participate 24/7 On Call Social Work Roster for the Hospital.
