Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week 

Temporary roles are available to visa holders, with contracts issued in accordance with visa conditions. Visa holders will be considered where no suitable Australian citizen or permanent resident is identified. 

Remuneration: $121,568.00 - $125,507.00 per Annum+ 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Are You the Right Fit? 
As a Senior Speech Pathologist (Level 3), you'll play a key role in supporting Aboriginal children and young people to reach their full potential. This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team to deliver meaningful, culturally safe care across a variety of settings. 

  • Experienced in assessing and managing communication difficulties in children and young people, with a commitment to evidence-based practice. 
  • Passionate about delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed, and family-centred care that supports lasting outcomes. 
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with children, families, carers, schools, and other professionals to achieve shared goals. 
  • Confident working across clinic, school, and community settings as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. 
  • Ready to take on a leadership role through staff supervision, mentoring, and contributing to service innovation and continuous improvement. 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients with a variety of communication and literacy difficulties.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in issues surrounding Speech Pathology management of Aboriginal children and children in Out of Home Care (OOHC).
  • Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students.
  • Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
