What you'll be doing
general medical care, arranging and performing surgery, and post-operative care. Investigation, management
and fulfilling patient discharge duties in a timely fashion. The appointee is also expected to participate in the management of outpatient and ambulatory care patients. It is expected that this resident is to attend operating theatre in an assistant role as required. Participate in both the after-hours and on-call roster covering the hospital.

- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Must have completed at least 3 years post-graduate training, including a minimum of 6 months surgical experience in Australian or New Zealand hospitals or recognised equivalent (not as an observer).
- Demonstrated foundational work towards RACS entry and OHNS advanced training.
- Ability to prioritise, organise, meet multiple demands and effectively work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Interest and ability to be involved in departmental teaching/presentation and medical student mentoring.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours roster.
