  • Lead, develop, and implement research activities for ACI, whether leading or partnering on research projects, ensuring successful outcomes and impactful results.
  • Produce and contribute to high-quality publications presenting research findings in peer-reviewed journals to influence practice and drive change in healthcare.
  • Oversee and lead research grant applications, establishing and maintaining relationships with external research partners to support funding opportunities and collaborative initiatives

What you will be doing

The Senior Research Fellow will lead health services research projects for a number of ACI Networks, Institutes and teams, usually in collaboration with other NSW Health agencies and groups and/or universities and research institutes. They will lead the promotion and conduct of research by working collaboratively with ACI staff, external researchers, clinicians, managers, and administrators to oversee research projects that ACI are leading or are a partner on.

Position Classification: Health Manager Level 3
Remuneration: $127,150.00 - $144,444.00 per annum excluding Superannuation
Hours Per Week: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

Selection Criteria / Questions

  1. A PhD with dissertation focused on a medical, clinical or health services research topics, and a medical, nursing, allied health, or other relevant qualification.
  2. Extensive experience in leading and managing research projects relevant to any aspect of health services research, with a demonstrable post-doctoral track record in peer reviewed publication, conference presentations and other research outputs / outcomes.
  3. Experience in production of grant applications such as NHMRC or other health related grant schemes.
  4. Demonstrated experience and skills in managing qualitative and quantitative research data, data analysis, interpreting results and reporting
