About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, experienced and patient-focused Senior MRI Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging team at Dubbo Health Service. In this role, you will provide a high-quality MRI service within a busy and dynamic imaging environment, ensuring safe, efficient and compassionate care for patients.
The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced MRI clinical skills and the ability to contribute to the day-to-day coordination of MRI services, including workflow management, protocol optimisation, staff support, education and continuous service improvement.
The role works collaboratively with radiologists, referrers, nursing staff and the broader multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient care.
Duties within the role:
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations across a broad range of clinical presentations.
- Provide senior clinical support and leadership within the MRI service.
- Prioritise workload effectively and respond to competing demands in a busy environment.
- Support and mentor radiographers, students and other staff as required.
- Contribute to protocol development, quality improvement and safe work practices.
- Assist in maintaining an efficient, patient-centred and responsive imaging service.
- Participate in rostered duties, on-call, weekend, or shift work as required by the service.
