Are you an experienced project professional passionate about making a real impact in mental health and suicide prevention?

Everymind is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of high-impact state and national initiatives that drive meaningful change across communities and organisations.

 

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Lead and Program Manager to ensure the successful planning and delivery of complex mental health and suicide prevention initiatives

You will:

  • Contribute to project planning, implementation, and evaluation

  • Lead specific project components from concept through to delivery

  • Develop evidence-based resources, reports, and presentations

  • Engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Provide guidance, workflow coordination, and mentoring to Project Officers

  • Support reporting, monitoring, and continuous improvement across projects

About You

You are a motivated and experienced project professional who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

You will bring:

  • Relevant qualifications in health, social sciences, project management or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience delivering health-related projects, ideally in mental health or suicide prevention

  • Strong project planning, evaluation, and reporting skills

  • The ability to lead components of work independently while contributing to a broader team

  • Excellent written communication skills, including reports and evidence-based content

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills

  • Experience mentoring or guiding team members
