Senior Occupational Therapist - Transitional Aged Care Service (TACP)

About the role
The Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) offers goal-oriented, time-limited and therapy-focused care to empower older adults to thrive in the comfort of their own homes by guiding them toward safety, independence, and dignity—your expertise as an Occupational Therapist can be the bridge between vulnerability and vibrant living.

The Aged Care Division delivers a range of clinical and non-clinical services across the entire Local Health District to support older people in their families to enable them to remain supported in their home.

The Aged Care teams and programs have a strong commitment to advocacy, restorative care and reablement back to wellness and independence. The position will enjoy cooperation and support within a strong leadership team and can expect significant challenges in a changing aged care environment which needs to respond to a growing patient population and commonwealth and state health reforms impacting on operations.

You will work closely with members of the TACP team, Allied Health Team Leader, TACP Manager. The role is a new position with scope for use of hybrid models of care delivery.
