About the Role
As the Senior Clinical Psychologist and Allied Health Lead, you will provide expert psychological care while offering high-level leadership, supervision, and consultation across the multidisciplinary team. What You’ll Be Doing
You will exercise independent clinical judgement in working with trans and gender diverse children and young people and provide expert consultation to families, carers, and health professionals. You will also lead and evaluate therapeutic interventions and contribute to broader service improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will:

About You
You are an experienced, values-driven clinician with a strong commitment to inclusive and affirming care for trans and gender diverse young people. You bring advanced clinical expertise and the ability to supervise, mentor, and support psychologists and allied health clinicians, alongside clear, respectful, and compassionate communication skills, even in complex or emotionally challenging situations.

You demonstrate strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams that include medical, nursing, allied health, and peer workforces. You take a reflective, proactive, and evidence-informed approach to practice. While experience within healthcare systems is advantageous, this can be developed through structured training and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent, displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website.

  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
