What you'll be doing
As Senior Clinical Dietitian Team Leader, you will lead a team of clinical dietitians while also managing a clinical caseload in designated specialty areas. Working closely with the Department Head and Deputy Head, you will help shape high‑quality, safe and responsive nutrition services.
Manage and supervise a team of clinical dietitians across inpatient and outpatient services
Deliver expert clinical nutrition advice and manage a complex clinical caseload
Coordinate student placements and provide high‑quality clinical education
Drive service improvement, policy development, quality and safety initiatives
Contribute to research, service redesign and achievement of national standards

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer that provides eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated extensive post graduate clinical dietetics experience and a broad generalist knowledge of clinical nutrition
Demonstrated evidence of providing advice to managers on clinical service development including implementation/procedure development, evaluation, and redesign.
Demonstrated experience in the clinical supervision of staff/students and evidence of contribution to education activities
Well-developed communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
Ability to work as an effective team member in a busy environment
Excellent time management and organisation skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and in a team
Able to display good computer skills and experience with meal/diet ordering systems such as Cbord and Cerner, virtual programs such as MS Teams, SharePoint and experiences with telehealth and electronic medical records
Experience in designing, implementing, leading, developing and evaluating research/quality improvement projects
