This is a Level 3 position. However, if there are no appropriate Level 3 applicants, applications from Level 1 and 2 will be considered. The selection criteria reflects the requirements for a Level 3 applicant. Responses from Level 1 or 2 applicants need to demonstrate their level of competence with regard to the same criteria and their ability to work towards Level 3. The expected performance of the incumbent will be commensurate with his/her years of experience and current level at commencement of appointment. The incumbent will work towards meeting the criteria for Level 3.

About the Facility
Manning Hospital is a 202-bed hospital providing a wide range of specialty services. This position offers exposure to a broad case mix across clinical areas, delivering both challenge and professional growth within a supportive regional health setting.
The Role
As a Dietitian Level 3 Clinician, you will provide a high-quality clinical service to patients and their families/carers to support optimal health outcomes.
You will:
- Deliver advanced patient-centred care and clinical advice with minimal direct supervision
- Ensure care is provided within professional, organisational, legal and ethical boundaries and aligned with evidence-based best practice and NSQHS standards
- Apply evidence-based practice across interventions, health promotion, education and research
- Manage competing clinical priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Work within scope of practice and seek support when required
- Lead and evaluate team activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families/carers, multidisciplinary teams and external providers to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Participate in ongoing education, clinical supervision and provide supervision to students and less experienced staff

Requirements:
Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.

- This position is full time; however, part time arrangements will be considered.
