About the role

Our Bathurst Hospital is soon to open a brand new state of the art cardiac catheterisation laboratory, providing diagnostic and interventional treatment for people with coronary artery disease, one of the leading causes of mortality in this region.

This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role of Senior Cardiac Sonographer where you can bring your purpose to life, broaden your scope and fast track your career. Your workplace will be the very new cardiac sonography service in Bathurst.

You’ll manage the clinical and administrative operations of the Echocardiographic services within the Cardiology department to ensure examinations are performed at high standard consistent with current established practices. You will have demonstrated experience in the ultrasound modality including protocol and procedure development and will be involved in ultrasound education for other staff and students.
