You will play an important part in early identification and de escalation of conflict, responding to anti social behaviour, and working collaboratively with clinical and non clinical teams. With a strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and adherence to work health and safety legislation, you’ll be helping ensure a positive and safe experience for all who come through our doors. The successful candidate will have:
- Leadership skills – Lead a dynamic team in providing safety and care for patient, staff and visitor
- Valid security Licence & current First Aid certificate
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

- Experience in hospital or healthcare security
- Experience in access control system and CCTV monitoring
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, nursing staff and Emergency Department
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1.Do you have a current NSW Security Licence in accordance with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A? Please attach a copy of your licence with your application.
2.Do you have a current First Aid Certification? Please attach a copy of your certificate with your application.
3.Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
4.What is your availability to work 12 hour days & night shifts.
5.Can you elaborate on your understanding and application of security techniques, including conflict resolution, de-escalation, and restraint practices in your previous roles?
