Sydney Children’s Hospital is undergoing a once in a lifetime redevelopment, and we are looking for a Pharmacy Administration Officer to join us as we move into our brand-new, purpose-built pharmacy in November 2025.

Our pharmacy department deliver inpatient clinical, operational, HITH, ambulatory and outpatient pharmacy services to the hospital. We care for patients as part of the multi-disciplinary team under medical teams such as oncology/haematology, neurology, renal, gastroenterology, intensive care, mental health, emergency and surgical.

This position supports patients and families with prescription refills and pharmacist appointment bookings as well as the Directors and wider pharmacy team.

What you'll be doing

This position provides customer services and administrative support to non-admitted patients and families utilising pharmacy services at SCH Randwick. This position co-ordinates the scheduling of in person and virtual medication review by a paediatric pharmacists, prescription management and postage of refill prescriptions enabling patient and family centered options for medication supply. This position also plays a key role in the delivery of high-quality customer service by direct liaison with specialist clinics and medical day unit bookings for patients requiring hospital provided medications. 
  
This position also provides direct and administrative support and assistance to the Director and Deputy Director, and general administrative support for the wider Pharmacy team.
