About the Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
The Revenue Officer is responsible for the provision of general administrative duties, fast, accurate and timely data entry, invoicing, follow up, and other miscellaneous general duties including archival of documents within Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). The incumbent will provide revenue transactional services within the allocated team, including billing, receipting or debt collection activities.
The position has been identified for transition to HealthShare NSW in February 2026 as part of the Patient Billing Standardisation Program.

Ideal Candidate
- Certificate III in Accounts Administration or equivalent, and/or relevant work experience in a high volume environment within a large organisation.
- Experience with revenue transactional processes and procedures including proven capacity to undertake fast, accurate, timely data entry in revenue systems in a high volume processing environment.
- Experience with using spreadsheets in preparing and prioritising work, including the ability to report on key results.
- Experience in the follow up of outstanding accounts with the ability to liaise with relevant contributors for an effective outcome.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to explain processes and to draft correspondence relating to patient accounts.
