What you'll be doing
The Cogscreen trial aims to compare cognitive screening tools in young people with first episode psychosis. The Research Psychologist role will support trial recruitment and conduct cognitive assessments. In this role you will:
- Assist the Trial Manager with participant recruitment
- Administer cognitive screening tests (SCIP and MoCA)
- Support comprehensive neuropsychological assessments
- Contribute to a multi-site, cross-sectional research study

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Registered Psychologist
- Registration: Current authority to practice as a Psychologist with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to apply research methodologies and quantitative/qualitative data analysis, including working with databases.
- Experience conducting interviews and administering and scoring cognitive tests such as the SCIP and MoCA.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills for effective research collaboration and engagement.
- Well-developed organisation and time management skills.
- Previous experience demonstrating high level adaptable organisation and flexible management skills.
- High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suite.
- Holds valid NSW driver’s licence.
