About the role: 

Ward E3 is a dynamic 30-bed elective Orthopaedic surgical unit, committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care. Our dedicated team of health professionals works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, families, and carers to ensure holistic, high-quality outcomes at every stage of the care journey.

As a Registered Nurse on Ward E3, you will have the opportunity to build specialist expertise in the pre- and post-operative care of elective orthopaedic patients, while also supporting a variety of other surgical specialties, including Trauma, General and Acute Surgery, and Vascular care.

As an integral member of our nursing team, you will be supported to:

  • Transition smoothly into our progressive, patient-centred orthopaedic unit and deliver safe, high-quality care
  • Participate in the delivery of complex care throughout the surgical journey under the guidance and supervision of experienced Registered Nurses
  • Apply evidence-based best practice to drive positive outcomes and experiences for both patients and staff
  • Continue your professional growth with the support of clinical specialists on the unit and the Surgical Services Clinical Education team
