About the role:
Our Paediatric Ward manages a varied and rewarding caseload, offering exposure to both acute and sub-acute presentations. The team works collaboratively with medical officers, allied health professionals and support staff to ensure safe, coordinated and compassionate care for patients and their families. As our newest Registered Nurse (RN), you will be providing comprehensive nursing care to infants, children and young people; including undertaking clinical assessment, monitoring and responding to changes in patient condition, and supporting and educating patients and families to promote positive health outcomes.
You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), the Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE’s), senior RN’s and the broader multidisciplinary team. A structured orientation and onboarding program will see you fit seamlessly into the role.Ongoing education and development are not only supported but truly championed by the management team. Essential criteria:
✅Current registration as an Registered Nurse with AHPRA
✅ Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts

✅* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
