What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients within the Neurosurgical and Trauma COU, ensuring safe and effective clinical outcomes in a complex healthcare setting.
· Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and their families
· Assess, monitor and respond effectively to changing patient conditions
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
· Supervise, mentor and support nursing staff and students as required
· Effectively manage clinical resources while maintaining professional and ethical standards

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated extensive recent surgical nursing experience with commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
2. Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
3. Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
4. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
