About The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurses to join our Medical/Surgical Inpatient Unit, located on the Ground Floor of Bowral Hospital. This unit also provides care in palliative and aged care settings, offering you a varied and rewarding clinical experience.
Bowral Hospital, set in the beautiful Southern Highlands and easily accessible from Sydney, Canberra, and Wollongong, has recently opened a brand-new clinical services building. This modern facility includes purpose-built wards designed to support high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team where collaboration, innovation, and professional development are strongly encouraged. With the guidance of Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Clinical Nurse Consultants, you will have the opportunity to advance your skills and contribute to delivering safe, compassionate, and responsive care.
What You'll Be Doing
The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Bowral & District Hospital, located in the picturesque Southern Highlands of NSW, offers a unique blend of rural charm and cosmopolitan amenities. As part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, it has strong connections to tertiary facilities at Campbelltown and Liverpool.
The hospital originally opened in 1889 and has undergone significant redevelopment, with the first stage completed in December 2020. This $123 million redevelopment includes a new Clinical Services Building with a modern emergency department, operating theatres, and inpatient wards. The ongoing second stage will further enhance outpatient services and include a new Aboriginal Dreaming Garden.
