About the role

If you love variety, challenge and learning on the run, our medical wards will feel like home. You’ll gain exposure to an impressive range of specialties, including:

  • Stroke and telemetry
  • Dialysis and respiratory care
  • Diabetes management
  • Dementia and delirium
  • Eating disorder care

Med 1 offers high-acuity, fast-paced nursing, while Med 2 gives you broad experience across multiple specialties. Together, they provide an incredible foundation for developing strong clinical judgement and confidence.

You will:

  • Advocate for patients and support families
  • Respond to rapidly changing clinical situations
  • Work within a close-knit, highly supportive team
  • Build advanced assessment, prioritisation and leadership skills
