About the Role

 

As a Registered Nurse within our Hepatitis C Taskforce and Liver Service, you'll play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality care to patients across both outpatient and inpatient settings. Working collaboratively with our Nurse Practitioner and specialist medical team, you'll assess, plan and implement individualised care, helping patients navigate their treatment journey with confidence and compassion.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.

  • Performing liver stiffness measurements to support clinical decision-making.

  • Developing and coordinating personalised care plans in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.

  • Providing education, support and advocacy for patients throughout their care.

  • Contributing to the delivery of innovative and evidence-based liver health services.

  • This is a part-time position working flexible day shifts.

 

About You

 

You'll thrive in this role if you are a caring, organised and motivated Registered Nurse who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships and working collaboratively within a specialist team. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your clinical skillset through exposure to specialised diagnostic procedures and advanced liver care.
 

We're looking for someone who has:

  • An interest or experience in the management of chronic liver disease.

  • Excellent organisational, time management and computer skills.

  • A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.

  • A willingness to learn and develop within a specialised clinical service.

  • Essential

    Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
     

Previous experience in liver disease is highly regarded—but not essential. We provide comprehensive orientation, ongoing education and support to help you build confidence and succeed in the role.
