Where you’ll be working
Join the Belmont Hospital Emergency Department, a high-performing Level 3 ED managing over 30,000 presentations annually. With 20 treatment spaces, including two resus bays, a Fast Track Model of Care, Primary Physiotherapy, and an advanced Nurse Practitioner (NP) model, this ED balances clinical variety with a supportive, team-focused environment. You’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team where every staff member is valued, mentorship is embedded, and professional growth is actively supported.

About the role
This role is perfect for compassionate and collaborative Registered Nurses seeking to expand their emergency care experience. You’ll work across all areas of the ED, including acute care, resus, triage, and Fast Track, with structured support every step of the way.

From your first shift, you’ll benefit from:

  • Guidance from allocated mentors, the ED Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) with niche portfolios

Previous ED experience is desirable, but we welcome applicants who bring compassion, a strong team ethic, and a dedication to patient-centred care.

About you
You’re a Registered Nurse with a genuine passion for emergency care, able to work independently while contributing positively to a high-performing team. You will demonstrate:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Strong clinical judgement and a proactive approach to patient care
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Compassion, resilience, and dedication to delivering exceptional patient outcomes
