About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
The Department of Molecular Imaging performs both Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Nuclear Medicine procedures. A Registered Nurse in the Department is required to provide general nursing care for both inpatient and outpatients, as well as booking, preparing and consenting patients. The role also incorporates gaining intravenous access for patients requiring radioactive injections and communicating effectively within our multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe and continuous workflow.
This position will be working a Monday to Friday roster, with shifts of 0700-1530 and 0830-1700 hours.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Willingness to become proficient in cannulating.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduation ward experience.
