About the Opportunity

Join a dynamic and supportive team at Narrabri District Hospital, a well-resourced rural facility offering exposure to a diverse range of clinical areas. This includes medical and surgical care, paediatrics, palliative care, maternity, oncology, a busy emergency department, and operating theatres.

You’ll work within a strong multidisciplinary team alongside Allied Health and Medical staff, in an environment that values professional development, education, and teamwork. Clinical Nurse Educators and management provide ongoing support to help you grow your skills across multiple specialties.

 

What You Will Be Doing

As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a variety of clinical settings within the hospital.

In this role, you will:

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Allied Health and community services
Provide nursing care across medical, surgical, paediatric, palliative, emergency, and theatre environments
Participate in a rotating roster including 8-hour AM and PM shifts and 10-hour night shifts
Contribute to a positive, team-based work environment
Build and expand your clinical skills across a broad scope of practice

 

About you
You are a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse with a passion for rural healthcare and a team-first mindset.

 • Previous experience in acute or rural settings (highly regarded but not essential
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enthusiasm for rural and diverse nursing experiences
Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple clinical areas
Commitment to ongoing learning and development
