About the Team

Our team is diverse, skilled and supportive, with a strong focus on collaboration and professional growth. You’ll be supported by an onsite Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), with a structured orientation program to ensure you feel confident in your role.

 

About the Role

This is a dynamic rural nursing position where you will gain broad clinical exposure across multiple departments.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Report to the Nurse Unit Manager and After Hours Nurse in Charge
  • Work across the Emergency Department, Medical Ward and Surgical Ward
  • Manage a patient load within a ward setting
  • Oversee daily clinical operations and contribute to safe, high-quality care
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be willing to support other departments or nearby facilities as required

This role offers genuine opportunities for further training, supported study and transition programs within the facility.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 12 months clinical nursing experience
  • Motivation to lead and support a young, emerging team
  • Advanced clinical skills in venepuncture and/or cannulation, or willingness to work towards competency
  • Flexibility and confidence working across ED, medical and surgical settings
