Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.

  2. Excellent knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislative requirements for claims management and evidence of ability to calculate pre-injury average weekly earnings (PIAWE).
  3. Effective communication skills including confidentiality, sensitivity and judgement with stakeholders including injured staff, managers and insurance providers.
  4. Experience in a range of HR systems including payroll functions with ability to interpret industrial awards including pay entitlements and leave conditions.
  5. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  6. Excellent IT and records management skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to prioritise, manage conflicting demands and use time management skills.
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
