About the opportunity
Campbelltown and Camden Hospital is looking to recruit Level 2 Radiographers to add to our vibrant Medical Imaging team. This role is a great opportunity for enthusiastic radiographers to grow and develop in a dynamic and fast paced environment.  We are seeking applicants who are interested in Temp FT or PT for contracts currently until January 2026, with the possibly of extension at same/reduced hours.

 

Medical Imaging has undergone recent redevelopment and expanded its services across all modalities. The successful applicants will be provided training across all x-ray modalities including CT.  Applicants should detail their radiography experience, professional achievements, and plans for further development in their application.

Responsibilities encompass not only conducting imaging procedures but also maintaining equipment functionality, coordinating cleanliness, and promptly reporting any malfunctions.  The role involves collaborating with senior staff to establish and uphold imaging protocols and staying updated on advancements in technology relevant to the field.

Prioritising patient care, the ideal candidate focuses on minimizing discomfort while ensuring efficient and safe radiation exposure.  Compliance with healthcare and departmental policies, along with active participation in quality improvement initiatives, is essential for this role within the Health Service.

What you'll be doing
Provide accurate diagnostic information regarding patients to Medical staff on a routine and emergency basis in a timely manner so as to be of use in the patient’s medical management.  To perform imaging services as requested whilst providing staff with experienced imaging skills support.

  1. Current Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Medical Radiation Science degree or equivalent and hold a valid NSW EPA Radiation User Licence.
