Where you will be working:
As part of a seven-day roster, our radiographers enjoy a dynamic and independent work environment, often operating as the sole radiographer—perfect for professionals who value autonomy and clinical variety.
Inverell isn’t just a place to work—it's a welcoming community. Both the hospital and the town are known for their friendly atmosphere, and building strong relationships with patients and locals is at the heart of what we do.
If you're looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a genuine impact and be part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you!
About the role:
The position includes weekend work (1 in 2) and after-hours on-call duties, supported by a reliable pool of local casual radiographers who also provide leave relief when needed.
To help you settle in, we offer a comprehensive orientation to the department, hospital, and town. You’ll also benefit from ongoing remote education and professional support through our major regional imaging hub in Tamworth.
If you're a qualified radiographer with solid CT experience and a passion for working independently in a rural health setting, we’d love to hear from you. (Please note: this position is not suitable for new graduates due to the level of on-call responsibility required.)
