About the Role: 

This role will see you provide safe, efficient, patient-centred radiation therapy services, including all aspects of simulation, planning, and treatment delivery.

You Will:

  • Deliver quality radiotherapy care while monitoring patients’ mental and physical well-being, referring them to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Ensure safe and efficient treatment delivery with accurate record-keeping in line with departmental standards
  • Stay up to date with best practices and evolving departmental policies
  • Actively contribute to quality assurance programs, research, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist senior staff with student supervision and training
  • Implement risk management strategies to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy)/Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) - Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualifications recognised by the MRPBA. 
  • Fully registered with AHPRA as a Radiation Therapist. 
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a NSW radiation licence (as issued by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory body licence.

  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
