About the role

This position provides an exciting opportunity for psychologists committed to working in a community mental health team, in particular those interested in working with older people and their families.

The Bathurst Older People’s Mental Health (OPMH) team is a multidisciplinary team that prides itself on working collaboratively with an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, while ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided. In this role, you will work closely with the team leader, the clinical leader, and the wider team. They will be also linked in with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.

The successful applicant will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation to the role, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway. This plan will include the core skills required to undertake the role and the persons own developmental interests in OPMH.
