About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for Psychologists committed to working in a Community Mental Health team, working with young people and their families.
The Bathurst CAMHS team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, and psychiatry backgrounds, with support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines.
The team prides itself on working collaboratively. Together we maintain an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, while ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided.
The team meet every morning to review new referrals and plan the day. Clinicians will then see young people and their families, conducting mental health assessments, providing therapy and care planning for improved mental wellbeing.
The role works closely with the team leader, the clinical leader and the wider team. The successful candidate will be also linked in with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.
The successful applicant will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation to the role, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway.
