- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Undertaken specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and/or have other equivalent specialist recognition and qualifications, with the ability to adapt clinical practice in accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to the conduct of high integrity, respectful, and collaborative clinical research.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (written and verbal), clinical skills, judgement and expertise, teamwork, time management and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
- Demonstrated track record in supervision and training of junior medical staff, including prevocational and advanced trainees.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and professional development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education and continuing professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with the service objectives of the Sydney Local Health District, including the provision of services to local community, effective use of resources, preparedness to participate in provision of health services at District level, if credentialed.
