- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Must be a registered advanced trainee with CICM or RACP or completed formal Fellowship requirements. Preference will be given to those who have been awarded their fellowship or who are in their final year of training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to training in Intensive Care or Infectious Diseases or a specialty that would be strengthened by a period of training in Critical Care Infectious Diseases.
- Familiarity with major computer-aided communication and database tools.
- Interest and/ or experience in research and /or teaching & interest in training in research methodology.
- Interest in training in clinical microbiology and/ or public health and/or related discipline.
