- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Post graduate qualifications in internal medicine (FRACP) and Haematology or a 4th year Haematology advanced trainee
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with medical staff and other disciplines
- Involvement in patient safety and clinical quality improvement activities
- Willingness to work at different sites throughout the established network
