- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- At least 6 years full time hospital experience. Experience in precision medicine oncology genetics.
- Commitment to pursue a career in Medical Oncology and the capacity to complete the training program.
- Successful completion of the Royal Australian College of Physicians written and clinical examinations. Candidates intending to complete their third year of training or have completed all three years but are willing to continue at the Advanced Trainee level of appointment are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise at the level of an advanced trainee.
- Experience in teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, good time management skills and capacity for self-directed learning.
