Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Completion of Part 1 requirements for Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
- Completion of Part 1 requirements for College of Pathologist preferable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage a project (For example research, quality assurance) & demonstrated ability in basic research skills; literature review; critical thinking; data collection; data analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise
- Demonstrated organisational skills, good time management skills and capacity for self-directed learning
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal & communication skills and Capacity to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to core values of hospital based medical practice: patient care, teaching, research and quality improvement
